Hi, my name is Benjamin Garrett Jenson Morgen aka Bird the Mime. As of now, my passions include mime, philosophy, boardgames, romantic adventures, rainy days with coffee, wild places, self-inquiry, and being a social artist. I value exploring ways in which I can share my loving, sincere, imaginative self with others while creating and exploring ideas and realities through movement, conversation, and intention. I have a goal of teaching philosophy and collaborating with passionate and creative people so as to investigate freedom and inspire in every moment a new paradigm; a culture of peace and wonder through community empowerment and hearted based consciousness.
I am currently in process of uncovering and exploring a deep truth within myself as a warrior-scholar, a "Heart-Mind Warrior". Being a cage fighter, college wrestler, and recipient of a

history of violence among many other things, I am beginning to craft my energy and warrior spirit to champion imagination and heart, so as to bring forth beauty and wonder into the world. I have worked domestically and internationally doing community development for non-profits and NGO’s. I graduated with honors from the University of Washington with a degree in Community Environment and Planning (CEP) and minors in Political Science, and Urban Design and Planning.
I am a world traveler having backpacked across Europe and Central America, an avid adventurer having completed a solo cross-country bike ride, a lover of wisdom having completed multiple silent meditation retreats, and recently has been inspired to explore self through physical movement by becoming a professional mime and performance artist.
Every experience, though, and action in my life has influenced who I am and how I relate to this word. Below are subjects, concepts, and ideas that I am actively investigating.
